2018年発表のデモテープ、そして 2019年にIron Lung Recordsから発表された1st 7" Vain Attemptで世界の注目を集めた韓国・ソウルの4人組ハードコアパンクバンド "SLANT"。
タイトなボストン・ロウ・ハードコアサウンドに怒りの感情を爆発させたYejiの叫び。体が動かさずにいることが難しい最高峰のバンド。昨年の東京ショートツアーでの衝撃を再び。

Vain Attemptは、レコーディングをドラムであるGarret(Bloodkrow Buthcer, Male Nurses, Crawler etc)が、マスタリングはRIXEのMaximeが担当。ボストンでの友情を感じられる1枚が本ツアー、そして先日のRIXE 来日のきっかけ（元凶）に。
ギターのYuyingはソウルのライブハウスGBNのオーナー、ベースのDongwooはScumraidやArryamのメンバーであり、ボーカルのYejiはタトゥーアーティストとしても活躍中。どれも素晴らしいものだと思うので気になった人はチェックしてほしいです。
